Month of Gratitude: McKel Hill

Gratitude

There are far more than “5 things” that I find gratitude in, but for the sake of “list love”, here are my top 5 things I’m grateful for this year!

  1. The ability to share my passion with all of you each day! Whether that be through Instagram, Facebook, my blog or email- I love connecting with readers all over the world.
  2. My support systems! Having support through my family, friends, community here in Nashville, and the Nutrition Stripped community has been invaluable to my success and happiness! I couldn’t do what I do everyday if it weren’t for people challenging me to push harder and accomplish my goals.
  3. Awareness. I’m grateful for the heightened awareness we now have in the world about our health, well-being, and how the choices we make about our lifestyles directly impact the way we feel.
  4. Challenges. I’m grateful to experience the good times with the tough times- these challenging times are areas of growth both professionally and personally that I cherish (in hindsight haha!)
  5. Food. I think this goes without saying, but I’m grateful for the ability to enjoy fresh food daily and play with it in the kitchen with recipes to share with you all 😉

I hope you all find ways to list what you’re grateful for this year- something that I like to incorporate into our Thanksgiving dinner is going around the table to have each person list several things they’re grateful for and also things they would like to work on and get better at for the following year (“areas of growth”). I encourage you to challenge your loved ones with this around the holiday table this year.

Much love and gratitude,

McKel
